With over 22 years of clinical experience, Carlyn has seen how effective acupuncture and energy work can be in treating numerous health conditions. She enjoys working within a general acupuncture practice treating conditions from pain syndromes such as sciatica, bursitis, tendonitis, headaches, and low back pain, to digestive disorders, such as IBD and IBS, but has a particular passion working with mental health (anxiety, depression, and PTSD) as well as hormonal issues, such as fertility, hot flashes/night sweats, migraines, and other menopausal symptoms.

Dearest clients

As a health care provider, my main priority is to keep us all healthy and as safe as possible. I am in full compliance with the Ministry of Health's recommendations as well as those of my regulatory body, the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario, but that being said, we need to work together to keep us all safe. If you have any respiratory head cold symptoms but are well enough to come in for a treatment, please wear a mask or reschedule your appointment with me when you are symptom free.

Although masks are no longer mandated by our college or the Ministry of Health, if you would like me to wear one while you are in the clinic, please let me know. I am happy to accommodate to make you feel as comfortable as possible. I also have a Coway Hepa filter that provides excellent air ventilation and filtration. Here is this NASA study https://ntrs.nasa.gov/citations/20170005166 that explains how hepa filters can filter out viruses such as the corona virus.
